    Intro to Holistic Esthetics

Our next class is on Monday, November 2nd, 2026 from 8 AM to 3 PM Pacific Time on Zoom. If you can’t make it to the current session, sign up here to be notified of the next class late fall.

In this course, you’ll learn the foundations of Holistic Esthetics:

    • What is a holistic esthetician: modalities, techniques, and meditative practices.

    • Skin health: long-term journeys vs quick fixes.

    • Epidermis and stratum corneum: a deep dive on skin anatomy pertaining to estheticians.

    • Plant physiology and key ingredients: looking at nature to seek balance and inspiration.

    • Nutrition for the skin: how our epithelial cells respond to nourishment.

    • The basics of a Botnia facial: high-level discussion of what goes into planning and performing a holistic facial.

    • Home care: helping your guest build their skincare toolbox and start thinking like an esthetician.

    • Spa talk and language: the impact and importance of word choice.

Where This is a live, online course via Zoom.
When This course will be held once per quarter. Our next class is on Monday, November 2nd from 8 AM to 3 PM Pacific Time.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive:

    • A certificate of completion
    • Foundational knowledge of holistic esthetics taught by our lead educator, Leia, an esthetician of 20 years.
    • A deep understanding of how body systems interact with the skin and how plant based skin care is an essential element to a nutritional skincare practice.
    • A guide on how to talk to your guests about holistic skincare, including your own mission statement, newsletter template, and copy to use on your website and Instagram.
    • A printable zine about safe and inclusive language in the spa.

    NOTE

This class is a great first step in getting to know our approach, but it does not guarantee a partnership. Because we’re a small, hands-on company that makes and grows our skincare, we’re not able to partner with every esthetician who applies. If you’d like to learn more, visit our wholesale page.
