Our workshop on the water in the heart of Sausalito. The Botnia Atelier is our treatment room workshop, a place to create healing skincare for all. Because the place to create skincare isn’t just in a laboratory, it’s in a facial treatment room, too.
The Atelier, our spa workshop on the water, is where our founder Justine works with clients and other practitioners to track and create skincare for specific skin conditions, bringing those findings into our lab, to formulate new products.
With Botnia's apothecary back bar, each Atelier facial is customized to your skin as it exists in the moment; ingredients are hand selected and freshly mixed during your service. Facial treatments revolve around your individual skin physiology, with targeted ingredients and holistic practices based on your skin's current condition. Intended for all skin types, our signature Botnia facial is hand crafted in-house with ingredients from our own farm and lab in Sausalito. Cold pressed organic botanicals, hydrosols, extracts, and oils create a one-of-a-kind treatment, as our estheticians blend their knowledge of plant-based ingredients and healing modalities to create a facial just as unique as you.

As a Botnia Master Esthetician since 2018 and Botnia’s Community Manager, my holistic approach to the skin draws from years of experience both within and beyond the treatment room. My mission as an esthetician is to help you find balance in your skin by providing you with a tailored experience and home care, always meeting you where you are on your skincare journey.
My primary aim during each treatment is to nurture your skin using whole plant botanicals and provide a deeply nourishing experience, ensuring utmost comfort and relaxation. I use Botnia’s nutritive plants alongside specialized massage techniques to not only fortify the skin but also foster nervous system equilibrium. These practices encompass lymphatic drainage, facial Gua Sha, connective tissue manipulation, high frequency, and gentle extractions when needed. No two facials are ever alike and are a true one-of-a-kind experience.

As a fellow Botnia Master Esthetician since 2017, I have been deeply inspired by the simplicity & efficacy of the Botnia Skincare line. Through the years I have continued to expand my knowledge on how to heal and nourish the skin through a holistic lens, as well as my knowledge and learning of various advanced facial massage modalities. Additionally, my personal experience in the last few years with chronic eczema has shaped the way I work with the skin, guiding a gentle, thoughtful approach that supports healing from the inside out.
Our skin's biome is a dynamic organ always ebbing and flowing with the seasons. Which is why I meet your skin where it is at the time of every treatment. The ability to fully customize each facial from start to finish is just one of the many reasons I love utilizing Botnia in each facial. Paired with various massage modalities (buccal massage, neo-lifting, facial cupping, gua sha), Lymphatic drainage, and nervous system balancing. I am a firm believer that less is more when it comes to treating most skin conditions. I look forward to being your biggest ally in your skincare journey and can’t wait to meet you!
