Growth Marketing Operator

Full Time · Sausalito, Ca · In Office · Senior Level

Thank you for your interest in a career opportunity with Botnia. Due to high volume, only those applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.

Botnia is at a pivotal moment.
We started in a treatment room. In a backyard in Sausalito. Growing plants because I wanted control over what was going on people’s skin. What began as hand batching products in my basement has grown into a nationally respected skincare company trusted by holistic estheticians across the country.
We are profitable. Independent. Not venture backed. We grow many of our botanicals ourselves. We formulate in house. We manufacture with intention. We love the work we do everyday.
And now we are ready to scale.
This is not incremental growth. This is the chapter where we build the change we want to see in the beauty industry.
We are hiring a senior Growth Marketing Operator to help lead that expansion.

The role

This is a five day per week, in office leadership position working closely with the Founder and Marketing Manager.
You will own DTC growth and materially impact revenue. Not assist. Not support. Own. Our strongest acquisition channels today are Instagram Google and our ecommerce site . Our opportunity is to increase acquisition efficiency, expand lifecycle sophistication, improve AOV, and scale revenue without eroding trust or brand integrity.
You will work directly with the Founder to establish budgets, allocate spend intelligently, and build a repeatable growth engine. You may bring in freelancers or specialists, but you must be able to execute yourself.
You are both analytical and persuasive. You understand dashboards and human psychology. You can look at CAC and LTV in the morning and write a landing page in the afternoon.
This is a build role. Not a maintenance role.

This role is for you if:

— You have directly scaled a consumer brand and can prove it.
— You have owned meaningful ad spend and understand efficiency metrics deeply.
— You think in full funnel systems, not isolated campaigns.
— You write compelling copy that feels intelligent, grounded, and high converting.
— You want proximity to the founder and the core team.
— You want to help shape the next era of a brand with real substance.

This role is not a fit if:

— You are early in your career and looking to learn growth.
— You prefer managing agencies instead of building systems.
— You avoid revenue accountability.
— You need layers of corporate structure around you.

Responsibilities:

— Own DTC growth strategy across acquisition, lifecycle, and conversion.
— Increase customer acquisition efficiency across Meta, Instagram, and Google.
— Improve AOV and retention through advanced lifecycle marketing.
— Lead product launch growth strategy from pre launch demand to post launch retention.
— Write and oversee high converting copy across email, landing pages, and paid creative.
— Optimize conversion rate across Shopify.
— Build reporting dashboards and clearly communicate performance metrics
— Collaborate with Founder on paid media budgeting and forecasting.
— Identify and manage freelancers to strengthen execution when needed.
Compensation:
Senior level compensation, negotiated based on experience and demonstrated revenue impact. This is a highly compensated role for the right operator. Performance incentives aligned with measurable growth targets.

Location:
Sausalito HQ
Five days per week in office

Perks:
Health benefits
Paid vacation
Botnia skincare provided

How to apply:

Email your resume, campaign examples, and writing samples to botniaskincare@gmail.com
Subject line: Applicant: Growth Marketing Operator
In your cover note, include:
—The largest revenue growth initiative you personally led
—The key metric you believe matters most in DTC growth and why
—A specific example of copy you wrote that materially improved performance

We strongly encourage people of all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences to apply. The skincare world is richer when it reflects the diversity of the skin we serve.
