Thank you, ICES Philly
Thank you for making our second trade show super memorable! We loved meeting so many like-minded estheticians who share our belief in plant-based, holistic care.
If you stopped by our booth, you might have received one of these powdered masks to try:
Kale Mask for brightening
Exfoliation Mask for a weekly exfoliating treatment
Sulfur Mask for breakout-prone or rough, dry skin
Flower Mask for antioxidant support
Here’s our quick guide to mixing them.
Mix equal parts of one of the ingredients/products below with the powder mask. Each mask contains two applications. You want the consistency of pancake batter. Let sit for several minutes (avoid letting the mask dry on the skin), then rinse clean. Follow with your daily skincare routine. Never apply a mask directly to skin without diluting first.
Goat’s Milk Yogurt
We love goat’s milk yogurt for skincare because of its high concentration of lactic acid: a gentle alpha-hydroxy acid (an exfoliator) that removes dead skin cells and gives you smoother, brighter skin. Lactic acid is also effective at killing bacteria and helping to unclog congested pores.
This is our favorite brand that you can find at most health food grocery stores.
Travel Essential Enzymes
Essential Enzymes is a cream cleanser and mask in one, gentle enough for daily use. It’s formulated to work just like goat’s milk yogurt, but is our shelf-stable (and vegan) option.
As a weekly mask: apply evenly, leave on for several minutes, then rinse.
As a daily exfoliating cleanser: massage into damp skin and rinse.
Rose Geranium Hydrosol
Rose Geranium is a bacteria-balancer that soothes irritation and has humectant properties helping to retain moisture in the skin. Mix into your mask and spritz over the skin to keep the mask moist. Comes in travel size.
Soothing Repair Mask
Mixing a powdered mask with ultra-hydrating Soothing Repair Mask is a great treatment for dry, dehydrated, and sensitive skin.
