Thank you, ICES Long Beach
Showcasing Botnia at ICES (The International Congress of Esthetics and Spa) in Long Beach was a huge milestone. The most meaningful moments came from connecting face-to-face with estheticians who share our belief in plant-based, holistic care.
You might have left our booth with a little something to try: Fade Serum, Mandelic Acid, or Travel Essential Enzymes. Below you’ll find a quick guide on how to use them.
Mandelic Acid (Professional Use Only)
This is part of our professional back bar, meant for use in the treatment room.
-
Apply to freshly cleansed skin.
-
Use directly on the skin, or if your guest’s barrier is compromised, buffer with goat’s milk yogurt or high-quality organic honey.
-
Leave on for 8 to 10 minutes, then neutralize with water and remove completely.
-
Contraindicated for nut allergies (made from almonds).
-
To extend the results of a mandelic acid facial, recommend you or your guest add Fade Serum as a nightly routine at home.
Fade Serum
Fade Serum is a mandelic acid serum designed for everyday use.
-
Apply to cleansed and toned skin in the evening before moisturizing.
-
Best used nightly; results appear after consistent use over the course of a full bottle.
Travel Essential Enzymes
Essential Enzymes is a cream cleanser and mask in one, gentle enough for daily use.
-
As a daily exfoliating cleanser: massage into damp skin and rinse.
-
As a weekly mask: apply evenly, leave on for several minutes, then rinse.
-
For added benefits, mix in one of our powdered masks:
Kale Mask for brightening
Flower Mask for antioxidant support
Exfoliation Mask for a weekly exfoliating treatment
Sulfur Mask for breakout-prone or rough, dry skin
These three products are a glimpse into the way we approach skin: intentional, honoring the human body, and rooted in plants. If questions come up as you try our skincare, reach out to us anytime.
