We distill with intention

Fresh plants are gathered at their peak from our micro-farm, wild harvested, or collected from our local farm partners. The plants are hand-packed into our copper still, following a specific distillation sequence that honors each plant’s unique qualities. Each batch is carefully monitored while the still works its magic to convert plant matter into floral water.

In Botnia’s lab, hydrosols are tested and stored in amber jugs in a cool, dark space. Our hydrosols are protected to preserve their full therapeutic power before bottling. By preserving them under these controlled conditions, we ensure the final product retains its aromatic profile, freshness, and stability.

Each bottle is hand poured, labeled, boxed up, packed, and shipped directly to you. We never outsource any part of our hydrosol process, making sure each step meets our high quality standards.

Because our hydrosols are seasonal, each label gets its own unique Pantone colorway that best evokes the plant or season they are launched. The insert cards are illustrated by Botnia friends and artists who capture the essence of the hydrosol in a visual manner. This is where we get to have fun with packaging! Each hydrosol becomes a keepsake, wrapped in a story that celebrates the beauty of nature and the season.
