Meet Fade Serum, a new kind of active
I believe that caring for your skin shouldn’t mean using harsh ingredients to get quick results. That’s why I created Fade Serum, a mandelic acid treatment that gently fades away discoloration in the skin without causing irritation.
Soft and steady skincare
Most products today use strong ingredients to push your skin into results too quickly at the detriment of your long term skin health. While you might see instantaneous results, you’ll also eventually see inflammation, irritation, or sensitivity in the skin. Certain actives are known to have “adjustment” periods where some people may experience heavy peeling, redness, burning, tingling, itching, or heavy breakouts. But what if that isn’t supposed to be the norm?
Fade Serum works differently and takes a gentler, more consistent approach. Think of it like watering a plant: too much water all at once can drown it, but the right amount of water consistently keeps it healthy and thriving. Fade Serum does just that for your skin.
How it works to Fade hyperpigmentation
- Brightens pigment and evens skin tone
Mandelic acid exfoliates the top layer of your skin, leaving it brighter over time. Working together with algae extracts to help fade dark spots and give your skin a more even tone.
- Calms and soothes irritation
Tusli and calendula help to bring down inflammation in the skin that can cause your skin cells to overproduce melanin (skin pigment) when your skin is in a stressed state. When your skin is calm, it produces fewer dark spots and discoloration.
- Smooths texture and reduces fine lines
Mandelic acid removes dead skin cells, revealing smoother skin and helping to reduce fine lines.
- Strengthens skin barrier
Unlike other actives or acids, nourishing botanicals work in synergy with your skin barrier to build up the strength of your skin, keeping it balanced and strong. You won’t see long-term sensitivity, just healthy skin.
How to get clinical results
Fade Serum works best when paired with a Mandelic Acid Treatment from a Botnia Spa Partner. (Just look for mandelic treatments under their profile.) Working with a holistic esthetician on a series of treatments partnered with daily use of Fade Serum at home, you’ll see optimal results, especially for anyone with deep hyperpigmentation or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
How to use and how long to use
Use after cleansing and toning and before moisturizing all over the face and décolleté at night. While Fade Serum is sun safe, it’s a good idea to use SPF anytime you’re using an active exfoliation to protect the skin.
100% of users saw results within the use of one bottle.
Who can use Fade Serum
Best for sensitive, rosacea prone, acne prone, wise skin, and hormonal skin types. Fade Serum is pregnancy safe and sun safe.
Please note: Mandelic acid is made from almonds, so anyone with a nut allergy should avoid using Fade Serum.
